God I hate how fake all the technological and future stuff is. This author write like she's only at best visually looked at a computer, this comes off as so fake. The dialogue and narrative is well written, but the lazy future setting is very poorly written and really takes me out of the book.

I should note this is an Audio Listen, not a "read". I've been devouring audiobooks lately.

Not my usual type of read. But after reading Rules of Prey and Anita Blake, I felt like shaking it up with another popular author. I wasn't sure what to expect after discovering JD Robb is Nora Roberts, who is usually associated with romance books. But this is pretty good so far. There are a few things like "space interference" that stuck out as kinda lazy science, and a pretty wild sex scene 40% in. Not bad so far

No time to read, so listening to another audiobook while working. So far I'm enjoying this.

Listening to an audiobook of this to entertain me while working. Physically read it years ago.
