There might be 5-10 pages of actual story in this book. That's being generous. This MAY be the last book for me. Or I might get bored of podcasts at work and listen to another, I dunno. I'm waiting till tomorrow to finish this. I would have stopped had I had to physically read this. But fortunately I work on a farm where I can listen to something 8 hours a day, plus 1 hr 20 minutes of driving on top of that!

ANOTHER QUOTE - "He kissed me, hard and long and deep, pushing his tongue so far into my mouth it was almost like deep-throating" ... really... This book is probably the single worst book in the series yet. The last book was exponentially better. Most of this book is sex. So if you don't like that, you may not want to read it.

And... TO QUOTE THE BOOK - " I wanted all of him inside my mouth, down to his balls, at least once. Next time I'd start with him smaller, now I had to fight for it. I'd gotten better at deep-throating ... "

AND THIS is the problem with these books. This isn't even characteristic of her... it's not like Anita at all. One minute she's shy, the next she's a porn star. It's conflicting. Porn for the sake of porn, too.

I can't listen to this anymore today... How many people can she fuck in one day. one sex scene ends, another begins... Over and over and over and over .. I think 8 maybe 9 or more times now. I need a break. There's like 5 minutes of story then 55 minutes of pornographic sex descriptions. I would be bothered if it wasn't so repeatative. Reusing descriptions over and over is getting boring as heck

Okay, so... In the last book they clearly rose a man from the dead who died to see if he was murdered... Yet in this book makes the clear statement that in no way should you raise the dead who have been murdered because they will 100% always kill their killer .. so why the fuck did they raise someone in the last book with the possible killer by him. This series is becoming a shit show, sad to say.

this book is just porn, with the occasional cutaway scene involving plot ... I mean... this shit is going SLOW... not much time has passed and she's had sex with 7 people minimum... and the plot is just not here. There's only so many time's I feel like listening to hour long descriptions.. this is definitely getting out of hand. Still interested where the plot will go, but jeez...

I think she's had sex with 8 people today. Definitely 7... but maybe 8. I've actually lost count. I stopped listening for the day when the narrator read "I'd gotten better at deep throating"... really? Come on. That's not Anita Blake. But okay. Whatever. I'm just listening to these while I work. I wouldn't probably waste my time physically reading these. Last book was better. This one's just sexsexsexsexsexsexsexsex
