I wonder if this was always intended to be the direction of the series? Others have written that even after reading a good number of books beyond this, that the sex never really lessens. It has as of this book, supposedly, become an integral part of the story, and not a passing fashion.

Not sure I'll read more of these after this one. Not sure. This series STARTED out as cool violent URBAN FANTASY... and turned into Pornographic Paranormal Romance. The writing is generally still quality, but it's just so focused on sex that the story itself disappears. It becomes more about plots that LEAD to sex, than about plots that are there for the sake of a good story and conclusion.

Well... The others were pretty sexually charged, but this is pretty much pornographic. Not sure how I feel about that honestly. In spite of this, I'm curious where the novel is headed. There's more of a bluntness to the sexual language. Words like penis, cervix, pussy, dick have been thrown around quite a lot.There's a description of a guy with a foot long penis, 6 inches thick... Outside the sex, the story's curious
