Barely started this book but didn't want to read so much Sanderson at one time that I get sick of him altogether so I shelved this one. Mainly to brace myself for more Stormlight Archives. I had just finished both the Mistborn era 1 trilogy and The Reckoners trilogy when I moved onto this one. I'm not in too much of a rush to pick it back up, but it is still technically a book I'm currently reading

Okay, I can't get this book out of my head knowing its unfinished. Last goodreads status update on this book puts me at 82% so it'll be quick to hammer out. I remember most of what happened, I also remember simply losing interest in the overall story. I doubt this book will garner more than 3 stars and I also doubt anything will happen that will bring me to doing anything like recommending it to anyone.

Shelved this one before I got too enthralled in the story. I'll pick it back up at a lull in my other books or, more likely, when Book 3 gets a release date. Without an end to the trilogy, no use rushing through Book 2.

Re-reading it in preparation for Oathbringer and as part of a book club!

Another book in my "backlog." I started feeling like the book was very predictable, pretty much from the beginning. I plan on knocking this book in the next week just to take it off my mental list and fill it in with another book in my sights. Probably Lovecraft Country

This book is very formulaic.

I'm about 65% done and so far I'm not impressed. 3 stars at best.

I have no motivation in finishing this book. At 50%, I had no motivation, but part of me kept saying "you're only halfway in, it has a chance to be what you enjoyed from the previous 2 books." But now? 82% in and I'm wishing I never started it. I'm sick of the plot, sick of the main character, sick of the side characters, sick of the vocabulary/slang that the author relies so heavily upon, sick of the lack of risk.

So far, SO GOOD. Patrick Rothfuss' writing style is easy to follow, it has a beautiful flow to it. He manages to jump perspectives with such ease to the reader. I never feel lost in his words or in his stories. A third of the way into the book, I'd readily recommend it to all.
