I'm not sure how I feel about this book yet, but so far so good. Even if i know nothing of violins.

I love this book. It feels so organic for me. The story doesn't seem contrived and that is so pleasant.

To be honest, I thought I was further in than 57%. This book feels hella long. I'm also reading The Fellowship of the Ring, and that book is genuinely long; this book feels so much longer. It's not. Not good. Also the more I read, the more I want to dnf this book. Does it get any better? Someone please say it does. I know a couple people who like this book, but I'm not seeing why.

I forgot how much I want to be a hobbit.

I'm over halfway through this book, and I'm not particularly attached to anyone. I honestly don't care about Holden. I'm unsure if this is because I'm reading this book past the general age that most people read it or if this really isn't a book for me. Either way, it's difficult going. I'm getting a little bored.

I'm once again unsure about this book. But then again I've heard a lot of mixed things about it.

Not looking good so far. Writings a little flimsy and a lot is all jumbled. The plot isn't keeping me engaged, also instalove and manic ex boy friend. Yuck.

The writing sounds super young and inexperienced, also oddly purple prose like. Some of the write literally makes no logical sense. It's become so out of control that I actually laughed out loud because somethings are so oddly phrased and clunky.

I read two chapters, and it was only 10 pages. This book feels a bit too young for me. I'm not sure that I'm going to enjoy it as much as I would have if I were younger that makes me a little sad. Also the instalove, no, just no.

What is this book actually about? I've just realized that I have no idea.
I've never so much as heard a summary.

This book still feels tropy, and I am not enjoying the world building at all. I really dislike how this world is set up like seasons. It just isn't working for me. I feel like it should though because that's the premise that first drew me in, but I'm finding that I don't like it. Uh

I really love the abhorsen series, and I'm feeling a bit nostalgic.

I'm still not 100% sold on this series (when am I ever), but it is growing on me.

Some of these stories are adorable and relatable and so perfect. And some are really dry and skimable. But I expect that with any anthology, mostly enjoyable though.

It's okay so far, but I am not getting too attached to anyone character. Not because I'm afraid my heart will break, but because I'm not relating to them really. I think I may have missed the perfect time for me to read this series by a couple of years.

The one thing that consistently bugs me about these books is the little bit at the beginning of each chapter. They are often way too pretentious for this series. Either that or the author thinks very highly of her work. Idk, they throw off my reading groove. Maybe I'll come to like them the further I wade in.
