It's beyond impressive how well-woven this is, the lore dances like a flame itself! Only now at nearly half way am I getting to the beginnings of the Dance. Anticipation (and dread) at an all-time high.

This book and I are mutually devouring one another. I feel like I can't read it fast enough, but I'm also trying to savor every single scene because I can feel the ending coming and I'm not ready to say goodbye.

I’ll admit I was skeptical about EH books after reading (& not really vibing with) People We Meet on Vacation, but this one has me hooked

It's actually stunning how well the movie adapted this book, and how beautifully the music, acting, and direction enhanced what was already so incredibly written. That said, the tragedy of just how *young* Katniss + Peeta read in the books by comparison is striking. They're children through and through in this. So much was stolen from them.

While the writing is expressive and cleanly styled, the FMC rubs me the wronggggg way for a reason I can’t put my finger on

Perfect "in my purse" book to pick up and flip through when waiting for the train, sitting in the park, passenger princess-ing, etc.
