I love the dynamic between Cameron and Julian. After Ty and Zane I was expecting a lot more troubles but thankfully these two seem a lot easier to handle. Don't get me wrong i adore Ty and Zane but they put my heart through the wringer and it's nice to have a break from all that angst.

I'm enjoying this so far. I wish Yarvi was more bloodthirsty, but I always wish that of my main characters.

That sex scene, though. I love sex scenes spurred on by one character being jealous. It keeps me alive.

I know this book isn't gonna end on a high note but I'm enjoying the cutesy relationship between Zane and Ty right now. These books are so addicting.

So I don't believe Tamlin is as much a villain as people make him out to be. He's an asshole sure but he had reasons for what he did. And Feyre really fucked him over by destroying his court without even considering he might have another plan. But typical Maas in order to make way for a new love she has to alienate the former one and then tries to make up for it and explain it later.

One thing i hate about Sarah J. Maas's books is how dull her villains are. They may as well be cardboard cutouts for how much depth they're given. I mean for fuck's sake King of Hybern, and King of Adarlan don't even get first names that's how little thought goes into their characters. As someone who adores well flushed out villains, nothing annoys me further than the one dimensional Big Bad Villain.

When Mor mentioned Amarantha I got so mad. I know she was upset but to throw that in Rhys face, when what Eris did to her wasn't even nearly as bad and he actually does seem to have a heart. It pissed me off so much.

I guess Jurian still has a heart, at least for humans. I feel bad for him. I mean he was tortured for decades.

Oh my god. She's trying to make Tamlin believe that she and Lucien are having an affair. So clever, but I'm conflicted. I think Tamlin deserves it but I don't feel great about her dragging Lucien into this. I think Lucien is a good guy with a kind heart he just make a mistake. I don't like her using him like this. Especially after what he had to go through with Ianthe. He's been used enough.

I love how action orientated it is so far. It's just go go go. But when Chaol is mentioned it makes me sad and anxious to read his book. It can't get here fast enough.
