Locke is insane, I love it. This reminds me of Psych where at the beginning of the episode Henry tells Shawn some advice and the next scene we see Shawn doing the exact opposite of what Henry told him to do.

I wish this book had a map. I fucking love/crave maps for high fantasy novels. Every high fantasy book should be required to have one and also have a character index describing all important families and characters in the book.

I'm enjoying this so far.

I'm finally getting back into this book. I plan to finish it by tonight.

The spell Kell used to bind himself to Rhy reminds me of that bond between Grover and Percy, where if one dies so does the other. Also the bromance between Rhy and Kell is to die for.

I'm going to work so I'm gonna finish the rest of the book on audio.

It's easy to move quickly through this book. I find I read books faster when the chapters are short.

I wanna know about Kell's past.

I'm beginning to wonder how this book is going to end. I mean there are two more books in this trilogy but this feels like a finale book. Are they going to fail and have to spend the other two books fighting the Lord Ruler? or are they going to defeat him but realize there are consequences like the Deepness they'll have to fight? Well, guess I'll find out soon enough.

I think it's pretty close minded of the rebels to assume every noblemen is evil and deserves to die. It reminds me of in Mockingjay when the rebels decided to continue the hunger games but with the children of the capitol people. It's like you're just repeating the same cycle.

I really want to finish this book off today but I have my final english essay due tomorrow morning and I need to do a lot of revising.

I'm fascinated by the story behind the Lord Ruler before he became the Lord Ruler.

I sense a romantic interest for Vin. And I already like this Elend fellow, after all, he reads.

I'm pretty sure Kelsier is going to die at the end of the book.

He shall defend their ways, yet shall violate them. He will be their savior, yet they shall call him heretic. His name shall be Discord, yet they shall love him for it.
Another reference to the Lord Ruler having been the prophesied hero.

Breeze made it sound like Mistborn are almost non-existent but now apparently there are quite a few of them in the Great Houses.

So the hero from the text above the chapters said he was supposed to save the world from the Deepness so am I correct in assuming he did become the Lord Ruler? (Don't confirm or deny).

Holy fucking shit. That was literally one of the best fight scenes I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Kelsier was so badass, and Sanderson so expertly wrote his fight scene to show off the power of the mistborn. At times action in books is confusing or only intense because you think someone might die but very rarely am I engrossed in a fight scene in a book because of the badassness of the action itself.

I'm really enjoying the world so far. So I'm wondering if the hero who was supposed to save the world became the Lord Ruler. I want to find out more about what led the skaa to be slaves and how the Lord Ruler took over but I'm sure it'll all come out eventually.
