Found copies of the first three books in a used book store and decided to buy and start reading them. I had been waiting for years to begin this series as I didn't want to get into them until Martin (finally!!) published the 4th one.

There's only one more chapter left... Darn!! I love spending time in Ms. Ballantine's world(s)!!

I asked my local bookseller (The Almost Corner Book Store in the Trastevere section of Rome) for a recommendation for an epic novel to accompany me on an upcoming trip to Scotland. Wolf Hall was the result and I actually began reading it in mid-December. So far, I am quite impressed with the author's powers of description; not flowery, but very precise and effective. I am about half-way through.

I had to leave my book back in the States, but I am about to listen to Episode 20 of the podcast. I listened to the original version of the podcast and this even better.

I am listening to Chapter 18 of the podcast. It is good to be in the company of the Fey again, especially Puck/Ronin.

I actually started this on September 14th...

Really enjoying this one!!!

Lucky me: the lending library in my mom's subdivision had a copy of this book and book three of the Frankenstein trilogy. The first paragraph of 'TE' was so engaging that I made my mom, who is not a reader of horror, read it and she was quite impressed:)

Very interesting so far... makes me think of the cable series "Rome."

Almost done!

This is my second or third Straub book of the summer. This is a more challenging book with so many characters and times, but it is good so far.
