so far, this story follows the original B&TB tale with only a few changes. however, the beast chapters hint at something fantastic. those sections are filled with vague animal like narration and vague references to A Mission, maybe some magic. I can feel the story getting ready to change directions and I'm very curious.

so very excited to get back into this series. i loved the first audiobook and while I'm super stoked to be listening to this one, i still gotta get my hands on physical copies of both booooooks. so pretty

I haven't been reading much lately so when mom got me the rest of these books for xmas (because she's passed me, that's how much she likes this series), i thought I'd just start it to appease her. I'm glad i did though. I'd forgotten how fun, quick reads can spark interest in reading again. so thanks mom! and thanks bailey cates!

Things I know about this book: 1. it has to do with a virus or a fungi or something; 2. I think it's an apocalyptic, everything's gone to shit type thing; 3. it's by Joe Hill; 4. it has a bigger cast than my friend was expecting/it generally wasn't what he was expecting

So this should be pretty fun!!
