I just can’t finish this book. It’s one scene after the other that’s exactly I like. I am wondering where the editor was for this one. I love Stephanie Laurens and I love the story and I love her writing but let’s get this moving.

I’m almost to the HEA and I can’t wait!

Ooo, getting fantastic author feedback. Things like, "I loved the relationship between sisters. Family is very important and it shows even while trying to solve a crime, she still managed to pull off being there when she was needed," and "She didn't go over the top to prove her theory and it wasn't dragged out. I liked that." I'm trying to pick a date for the cover reveal. Maybe next Tuesday? Stay tuned!

Wow, in approximately a month, this book will be LIVE. I can't believe it! I sent copies to beta readers and other authors to get their feedback. When I sent those copies, I realized I needed to write a few more chapters to fill out some of the character stories and the mystery. I'm loving these new scenes! Look for a book reveal at the beginning of the month.

Woot woot! Just finished story and line editing. Now it's time to pass it on to alpha readers and get some feedback. I know for 'A Shoulder to Die On,' my readers had SUCH helpful feedback. Can't wait to hear it!

Halfway finished editing! Can't wait to get feedback from ARC readers. I also decided to add some cookies into the story. Can't have a wedding without cookies, am I right?

I love Kate Morton. Why can't I get into this book?

Too stubborn to quit this one and I don't know why.

I'm 60% finished and I have to agree with a few reviews I read that said this was rubbish. One suggested E. G. didn't write it and I can see why. Serious editing was needed, and what is going on with Barbara? I'm going to finish it but I hope it's her last Lynley book, if this is how she's going to write them.

I'm afraid to keep reading! Donna Tartt can weave a story. And what are the odds the characters visit Amsterdam and Antwerp, two places I've been?
