I cannot get into this book. Thought it was first in series but it's not. Anyway, rated highly by Entertainment Weekly, Amazon readers and Goodreads readers. But I find it boring, boring, boring. Only reason I'm finishing it is because I paid for it and don't know what else to read.

I couldn't finish it. I got about 1/3 through, and even that took tenacity. Too predictable, too boring and the characters are too inconsistent and uninteresting. How did this get published and my cousin's stuff doesn't? Ugh.

Finished. Whew! Awesome book, but I had to push through the first third or so because it's so desolate and depressing. I finished because I was dying to know what happened. Now I'm hooked. A good, good book.
