Lara Rimmer is 11% done with Nevernight (The Nevernight Chronicle, #1)

I love the opening. People have complained that it's too difficult to grasp. Damn, we should dumb everything down. To hell with Shakespeare and Tennyson.

Okay, so in the opening chapter the writer compares a murder and sex. Both have the same lines linking each. It's actually very intelligent and I loved it. It wasn't a romantic sex scene but made two opposites strangely comparable.

So, yeah. It's not that hard.

Actually that whole section of Celaena being in the room just gave me flashbacks to TOG 1 and 2, and the little trio of her, Dorian and Chaol....I miss Celaena. I miss her and loved her more than Aelin.

Rowan is: all gooey-woo-woo. Yuck.

Points for: Elena's prologue. Much emotion. Many shocks. Pain. Feels.

Elide. Now has more heart than Aelin.
