This is so not working for me. It's not the book, well, it is the book but it's not the book's fault, oh hell, I mean, i'm just not in the mood for this book.

Oh Ward, you showcase the best & worst of what is human(disability, loneliness, rage, sexuality, friendship, betrayal, loyalty, honor, faith) in a set of hot vampires. How twisted is that? Oh and you do it with an in-your-face twisted humor and wit. God you are brilliant!

PLEASE do not disappoint me! I want this one to work since I've wanted to read it for a long time.

I would normally never read/listen to a Nora Roberts novel but it was free and it was the last audiobook left on my Mp3....soooo, I started it.

I love how Ward writes, I love the characters, I just wish she would do one or at the most two POV's per book, not like 50 (ok slight exaggeration there).

hmmm.. I need to refresh my memory on the terms, who's who, etc. I need the cliff notes for the series. I remember the main characters well enough though.

So far, I'm not impressed. The only character that I like is the slavegirl other than that, they are brutes and I don't care if they live or die.

I'm really trying not to fall for these two girls and their emotionally screwed up lives. It seems easier to say "just grow up" and "get over your childhood" since they are almost adults. However, I am a feeling, human being, in other words, the tears have started.

I go back and forth on my feelings for Mandy and Jill. Right now, Jill is the bitch. However, I'm sure that will change soon enough.

Not much happening here except slavery, whippings, beatings, and your occasional execution. Nope, not much happening at all.

Ok, not liking any of the characters right now but I'm guessing I'm not supposed to. They are kind of hard to like.

Big fan of Conn Iggulden so hopefully this one doesn't let me down.

This book came with a warning... "Prepare yourself for a long, hard cry", considering I'm a big baby, THAT is a very good warning.

This is a good book. It isn't wowing me but it is good. It makes me think of Zero Sight by Justin B. Shier which is an outstanding book.

No reading.. just staring at stupid tv.

This book is like a billion pages too long. I love long books that NEED to be long...telling a story that fills those pages, this book need to be half its size!

Restarted this book, loving it much more this time around. Before, wasn't in the mood. Won't be on for the rest of the day. Going to get wisdom tooth pulled.

How does a person go from 92% to 75%, I didn't know there was a 4th part to this way, too long audiobook. I was wondering why the book seemed to be ending in such an odd place (it was because it wasn't ending at all.. still had 25% to go).

Ok...love the book but really, this is two entire books in one. I guess it is a savings. Can't argue with that. This author can definitely write.

I just want to go wrap myself up in a blanket and finish this book.

My wisdom tooth is making an unwise appearance in the back of my mouth. AND IT HURTS. blah... I've had worse, this tooth will not defeat me.

I think I'm going to put this on hold while I read The Gamble.

OMG... I love Max. He's is bossy, sarcastic, sexy, bossy, outdoorsy and bossy. Did I mention bossy. My lunch went uneaten because I just kept reading.

I'm really eager for this book to be over. It is dragggggggggggggggging.

I'm ready for this book to be over. Not bad, just way too long (and not in a need-to-be-long way).

I'm still listening to this one. I like the story but something is not making me want to write updates or feel anything extra special about it. It's just there and it hasn't wowed me or anything. Regardless, it's like hot chocolate on a cold night... comforting to listen to.
