This book is fucking weird.

Somebody did it. Somebody actually did it. MR Carey combined Hannibal Lecter with zombie frankensteins. And threw in a dystopian setting for the fun of it.

What the hell is this book about? Vampires? Zombies? Vampires in a dystopian universe? WHAT THE HELL AM I READING? Don't tell me. I don't want to know.

I love reading this from other POV's besides Jimmy it's what makes this story work so well. Other authors need to read and take notes from this trilogy on how to write multiple POVs without being complete shit at it.

Woot! I have books in at the library and I hope to hell they don't suck. I'm sick of getting crappy young adult novels. Granted, I'm extremely behind on my reading this month and it's annoying me.

I really don't like this book. The movie is so much better.

I really should find my copy of a clockwork orange and finish it before I start the year of the flood. I also have to finish a feast for crows. It's already the 7th and I've only completed one book so far. I should be on book four or something. It's all those shitty young adult books I started reading and rage quit because they were so bad. Ugh.

I still don't know how I feel about this book. The writing is fantastic, the world building is great, and I love the past and present views, it's just not moving me or anything like that I completely see why people love this book and I am looking forward to the TV show and what they're going to leave out. I'm curious to see how the my change Oryx's story though.

Nina is fucking annoying. Am I going to have to deal with her whiny ass the whole time? More to the point, will I actually make it past 100 pages?
