I'm about 70% into it, since I'm doing it on audio and I can't find my paperback to figure out what page I'm on.

I still hate this book. I was hoping now that I'm older and reading it, I'd enjoy it more.

I'm not sure what page I'm on since I forgot to look. I'm enjoying the story so far and I have a feeling a character I like is going to die soon. The writing is pretty basic and the action scenes aren't that great, but the characters are pretty interesting so far. I'm enjoying Tris and his friends. I did start reading The Sworn first and immediately changed my mind. I need to know how Tris wins back his kingdom.

Going to start this one tonight. Hoping to get it finished by either the end of the weekend or next week, but it's a long one. Want to get this series finished so I can continue reading The Sworn.

I was really hoping you could just pick this book up without reading the previous series, but, you really can't. Putting this on hold while I start The Summoner and hopefully get them finished before Dragon Con.
If you really could start this book without reading the others, there would be no reason to put in a lazily written Prolog in the beginning. And I hate prologs. Especially badly written ones.

10 hours left of the audio book. I don't think I own this one in paperback (I have to check) so I'm not sure how much more I have.

I have no clue where I left off on the audio because I forgot to delete the tracks. Fucking hell.

I really, really, really hope that Kim does the honorable thing at the end of this series and offs Peri. She's one of the most boring protagonists I've read coming from an UF series.
Her personality, everything about her, is just awful.

Thanks to a migraine over the last 4 days, I haven't been able to get into this that much. Taking some time tonight, though. Camp NaNo is going to kick my ass and I'm so far behind on my reading it's not even funny.

They must have literally put The Martian into production 5 seconds after the book came out if the movie is being released in November.

Please don't be like every other young adult novel of the last three years and suck balls.

The pacing is much better than the first book but the kids still annoy the crap out of me.

My allergies are making it really hard to concentrate on my book.

Honestly, this book would be fantastic if it wasn't for the annoying teenagers - the MC and his sister.
