Nosemonkey is on page 70 of 338 of Migraine
As an occasional migraine sufferer (mostly visual auras followed by confusion rather than headaches), recently being hit by the things more often, I had no idea how many of the other annoying things I've been experiencing were related, or how varied migraines can be. Genuinely fascinating - and actually making me much less of a hypochondriac now I can begin to connect the dots.

A bit obvious, and a bit slow. This is a short story stretched out to novel length, probably ten times longer than it needed to be. But entertaining enough.

This is a very good book. That simple.

Still not sure if I like this book. The protagonist is a pretentious idiot, everyone else is an exploitative bastard, and the author appears to find rape funny. Yet from the other reviews it seems I must be missing something. Deciding whether or not to persevere.

This is fun, but dense as hell. A huge chunky book with small print. Regular print size this would be well over a thousand pages. Could take a while...

Random second hand shop purchase, picked up on a whim. Enjoyably readable so far, with few obvious pretensions. A relief after a recent slew of try-hard literary historical fiction, though as a result seems to lack much depth. Still, strange that a translation in a similar vein reads better than Mary Renault... She was a bit clunky, I found.

Very readable so far, chugging along nicely. Not the usual Dee mystical crap, but solid history. Decent.
