“How to Catch the Sun” Step Four: Hold Out for Dawn - I remember book club wanted to read a sad book, this better not be it as I thought I skipped that book. I'll finish it in the morning, just in case.

I don’t know a 5-year-old who attends public school and doesn't know what s-h-i-t is but it's Pearl's first time hearing the word and she needs a definition. It is also taken forever every time I think I've made strides I check the page or look at the chapter number and I haven't gotten far at all. Anyway, the execution of this story is so disappointing, here we are at the climax of the story and there isn't any

MINDSHIFT 5 REWRITE YOUR ROLE IN THE STORY - So good, but I forgot to finish my book club's buddy read book and the meeting is in 10 minutes, so I'm out for now.

Page 21 of 436[447] [Chapter] 3 1847 Florence, Italy - This is a very interesting story but I can tell it's going to take a few days to get through, so I'm pushing it to the back of the pile for now.

26:54 Part 2 Chapter 6 - I felt a little guilty for not playing this book right away and for stopping it 30 seconds in earlier this week but the guilt is gone. This story is dull and who does a Part 2 after 2 chapters? Chapter 4 was interesting but that's all and not enough to keep me here. I'll stay for one more round and if it does pick up I'm out. I'm shocked I'm under 30 minutes in, it felt like an hour.

Page 23 of 274 (+283) Mindshift 2: Redefine Success by Becoming, Not Accomplishing - This book is great so far. I'm excited to read more, but I have to get started on a book club book. I'm going to have to stay positive as the nocebo effect was eye-opening.

[Chapter] 6 Rescue Saving Animals from a Life on the Streets - These stories are so interesting. I had to make myself stop. I'm only stopping to run errands and finish my audiobook. I have been working on this book for so long; nearly a month, that it pains me to have to leave it when I have this much reading interest and momentum.
