Wow. I'm getting really irritated. I've lost count of the number of times I've thought "that would just never happen" or "why do people keep conveniently & unrealistically explaining their motives & plans?" It's like an old Bond film where the villain captures Bond, goes into detail about their plans then Bond gets free and foils their evil plot.
