Apparently if I read 3 (2 and two thirds, properly) books by Sri Lankan authors in 6 months, internet advertisers assume I am Desi and want to join Desi dating services.
It’s an interesting indication about Goodreads’ data mining, but also sad that someone along the line thinks you can’t like South Asian literature without being of South Asian origin.
