don't actually know where I am % wise but figured > was better than <. Anyway, wish the author had consulted with a native Spanish speaker instead of just using some translator because some of the stuff 'Alex's' says are just.... wrong. And as a Spanish native... it just takes you out of the whole thing. I get this isn't a literary master piece but if your MMC is Hispanic at least consult with a native speaker.

I absolutely LOVE her "falling in love with Science" story. I don't particularly relate 😅 as a perpetually straight A student.
But it's so unique. I love it.
Every other FILWS story starts just like she said. But yes! This happens. Some kids are not good at school and still find a love for STEM. I love her drive to make it happen despite her bad grades and previous desire to stop school ASAP bare minimum.

Ok, I literally just added it to CR but the first page is a note from the author saying technically, it this book takes place in the timeline after book 2 but before book 3.... so... gonna read book 2 first. I love reading novellas in the correctly place in the timeline.

I've been trying to listen on audio because I'm busy but kindle has spoiled me with kindle highlights and notes and I find myself frustrated with not being able to do that on audio. Lol so... did I spend 2 hours last night going back through 42 percent of the kindle version to write all the things I thought and said when I was listening to it on Audio? Maybe.

I'm having a hard time finishing this one. Not because it's not good or anything but because I know there's 1 more book so OBVIOUSLY they don't get out and I know the next book isn't even scheduled for release and I know it's gonna be a cliffhanger do I'm having a hard time making myself finish it.

You know when you're half way though a book and things start to wrap up nicely? In the second book of a series that has like 4 books....??? Needless to say, I'm highly suspicious.

Excuse me Ms Nancy Wu for a fantastic narration.

I like the plot so far, and obviously this is a RH paranormal romance so there's some cliché points but I don't care about that. I knew what I was getting into and I enjoy it. My biggest issue is the narrator because I'm listening to it on audiobook. Stephanie Rose is just not my cup of tea. I'm really struggling to get into the book with her narration. It's very robotic and not fluid at all specially the males.

Literally just one chapter in and I already love this book. I see why it was recommended to me. And this is exactly what I was looking for. Perfect!

Honestly not super enjoying it. I've read about 3 other book while coming back and reading a little of this one. I don't know what it is exactly, I just know I'm not loving it.
