Ch 21 - Okayyy. That was a sweet chapter with Boone.

But I want answers: Where is Persephone? Why did Hades pick Lyra? Why is she “the only one”? What does he want?

The pacing is so weird. What are we doing! Is this urgent or a game of attrition?

Ch 13 - These trials are interesting. I find the pacing weird - scenes are usually shown over two chapters. Odd. And I’m not sure why - they continue on conversations with nothing missed in between.

Ch 11 - It’s finally starting!

Not sure if I’m going to like this (if it’s TOO much gore)… we shall see

I think I’m finding this so hard to read because I love Hades x Persephone stories. And I just can’t… get over that this is NOT Hades x Persephone.

I fully believe this was made for me. It’s utter fluff with no conflict.

In lieu of conflict, there’s second hand embarrassment moments. But it still has be gasping and giggling.

This is itching my love for fanfiction so much. Just romance, no other plot. Vibes are immaculate.

Ch 8 - the chapters are very short (maybe too short - conversations take about 3 chapters to conclude).


I was waiting to see if Persephone would be mentioned in this… and she’s been name dropped. I wonder how the author is going to write a Hades romance and NOT have Persephone as the FMC…

Ch 1 - an interesting opener! I don’t love how futuristic it is, I prefer when it’s a bit closer to current day culture, if anything, for urban fantasy.

This is a good story but I feel like it could’ve been fleshed out a bit more. A little less telling rather than showing.
