Reading for the YA/NA Group Read pick.

I’ve read a graphic novel, 2 novellas, a children’s picture book and a poetry collection since I last updated here. Updating my “review” will have to wait until I’m back home and can use my computer for linking to books. The books are:
The Assassin’s Apprentice 1, Vol. 1; Neom; The Future Second by Second; The Gravity of Existence; and Take out the Dog.

Interesting how there is still plenty of disagreement on exactly which muscles (or whatever) are responsible for what vocal function). Disagreement because Science hadn’t figured it out yet.

A series of poems after The Island of Dr Moreau is fantastic! And original to this collection.

I haven’t been able to settle on a novel, so I thought I’d read a bit of Beatrix Potter’s comforting children’s picture books.

I read 3 stories and they were:
The Tale of Peter Rabbit
The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin
The Tailor of Gloucester

They were all very nice and typical Potter (only the squirrels didn’t wear clothing!). I liked the Tailor story quite a lot and of course Peter Rabbit is lovely.
