Quite a slow one so far

The book is really good, I have to admit. Not very often, I end up staying up the night to read and rush through to find out what happens.

At this point, Anne knows about Marco.

It's rather gripping.. just the way I was hoping it to be.

Read the first 68 pages on my flight from Dubai back to Singapore on 4/5 April 2019. So far its quite engaging.

Katie is now about 6 years old and bounding with energy. She's really a sweetheart.

This is the part where the author brings home Katie as a puppy at twelve weeks of age. She's a real sweetie and charmer.

Loving the book so far. It is a bit depressing but I love how the dog makes things better for the protagonist.

At this point, the book is more interesting. I would like to know how exactly Sandra died, who the new ghost is, Trenton's interaction with the new ghost and who Adrienne is.

Quite boring actually...

A short but engaging story. There wasn't a resolution as to whether Sophia left in peace. But that in itself and the dreaded expectation of her return was a good ending.

The book is quite interesting so far. I am at the part where Masooma is asking Parwana to leave her.

Finally done! Though sad to say that the killer was quite predictable from early in the book.

Continuing where I left off..

A lot of alternating between the present Tessa and young Tessie. At this point that's ended. A little too descriptive with unnecessary details. Other than that it's quite interesting.

Very descriptive so far but maybe because it's still relatively early in the book.

The ending is - to my relief - moving quite fast. So upset that Celeste has been killed. The first one to be killed actually, just when she was becoming one of my favourite characters. Wonder who else is going to be conveniently killed...

The plot is so predictable and it's quite irritating how the protagonist is cast in an overly angelic light as the book progresses. I'm very tempted to abandon the book here but pressing on so I can finish the series.

I don't know if it's the book or me but I can't keep up with reading it. Just so boring at the moment. I hope it picks up soon. I'm at the part where maxon and america are getting ready to sneak out of the palace walls.

So hard to find time to read these days, but finally I've completed The Elite!!

So pissed and disappointed that Marlee was defamed and humiliated. Horrible to know that America would become a One while Marlee would live a derogatory life as an Eight. Both liaised with Royal Guards during the Selection and only Marlee got caught. She was not only caned in public but demoted to an Eight. Keira Cass I don't like how you destroyed Marlee.

The second book seems a little better than the first so far. Marlee appears to be having her own secrets so I'm waiting to learn of that. Currently at the part where the Elites families are over at the palace for Halloween.

Definitely enjoying this book more than the first. There's so much more on the Harper Bride and Roz's perspective is somehow more interesting compared to Stella's for some reason.
