This is good writing for YA; idk why so many reviewer complaints about the build; good books have build! Just thinking to myself: when is Phillip going to enter the picture. Four pages from now: chapter heading reads, "Enter the Prince", lol.

This was my fave disney princess film as a child. I'm really enjoying this intelligently written alternative to the (disney) original.

I'm loving the kindred spirit of this book. As I near forty, I find I am easing into the natural rhythm of life. I'm not afraid to rest when I need to, be quiet when I need to. I prioritize and let go.

I could do without the oftentimes snarky tone of Hoff; we can choose a better way without being an asshole about it and standing on the backs of those we scorn.
