Feeling grateful today for all I have been blessed with, for salvation, hope, and love. Happy Easter/Good Friday!

My reading is slow going, but the descriptive prose is so lovely, it begs to be read slowly.

Apparently, adorable, runny-nosed four year-old cousins who yell, "Play trains with me!" are to be avoided at all costs...no matter how adorable. Looking forward to the sick day I plan to take tomorrow to sleep off this lovely gift of a springtime cold.

Is it bad that I'm rushing through this book I'm reading b/c I'm so excited for the novels I just ordered? Feeling like a real book junkie today :0)

Currently brainstorming the blurb for my next novel, which is currently in the works. How to sum up the meaning of an entire fictional lifetime into a few paragraphs: that is the question.

My To-Read list keeps growing;happily, with a lot of indie reads in the mix. Wishing I had supernatural speed-reading power coupled with an endless supply of book buying funds and places to store them.

I can sense that something is coming. It's still a complete enigma; that's a good thing.

It's a little scary, but I swear I've known people from my beloved Podunk hometown who fit the description of Proctor brothers. That being said, really enjoying the book. Reminds me of "Housekeeping" in regards to the eccentric characters and the unique prose.

I need one of the famous Erdrich family trees!

Enjoying all the snow days I've had recently; helps me meet my writing goal and takes the pressure off summer vaca. Currently at 90K+ and wondering how long of a journey this girl's going to take me on :0)

Whoa! A surprisingly engrossing story just popped out of nowhere :0)

I usually don't have a problem keeping track of the extensive, intertwined family trees in Erdrich's novels. This one's throwing me for a loop though!

I'm currently having an argument with one of my characters. It's very one-sided; I want to know where his life is going, he's not saying boo about it :0)

I knew even before I picked it up that I was going to love this story! It has not been a disappointment; more of I'm having to tear myself away from it like an addiction that I don't wanna quit!
