Oh my, I just saw a romance book (bare chested guy and all) in my newsfeed entitled "Little Prick". LMAO! I guess there's a romance out there for every diverse palette :P

Hooray! A trip to the public library today and then Morton is getting set aside for my Hitchcockian romp in The Girl on the Train!

My new fun thing is watching my number in the library queue go up. I'm waiting on The Girl on the Train; can't wait to read it; not in the budget to buy it. I shot up from 17th to 8th in a few days. Woo-hoo!

Slow and steady wins the race! Seriously though, maybe it's b/c I haven't read a novel this large in some time. A lot could be cut out...a LoT.

Sometimes, when I'm feeling blue, I stare at my book shelves and smile fondly at all the worlds I can escape to.

Haven't read a 500 pager in a while. It's like forcing oneself to sloooow down.

I'd forgotten about all of the ghostly occurrences in this novel. It's a page-turner!

One essay per night seems to be about what I can squeeze in this week. The first personal essay was a bit anticlimactic having to follow the title essay, but still carried a poignant message.

Completely fascinated by the title essay!

Even though I've entered over 15 Goodreads giveaways and not won a single one, I still enjoy the little rush!

I'm only on the second essay, but it's lovely reading.

I love Rick Steves. He makes vacation planning fun.

I'm only on the first essay but the gorgeous writing is music to my eyes and ears!

Today's the last day of spring break (sigh). I've had some wonderful, peaceful days though; very happy with the writing I've accomplished this week. Gonna put on some indie folk and see what I can get done today.

Feeling a little "lost in translation" right now. Teenagers who just happen to help a complete stranger (who btw grosses them out) cover up the murder of his mother? B/C they're bored? IDK; having trouble relating to this. Granted, it's only Chapter 2.

Enjoying Spring Break. Really hoping to finish (or at least be close to finishing) novel #4 this week :0)
