Reading this at home for TNBBC, and reading Siddartha at work during SSR and downtime. Whew!

Briefly setting All the Light on the back burner while I read this novel that I'm teaching my sophomores in the spring.

Hooray for a snow day (or editing day as it were) :P ANd I'm a giveaway winner of TNBBC so, could today get any better ?

Picking up the pace (or either getting used to it maybe). I'm sold on the story and the characters; I want to know what happens :)

Just finished grading 70 AP essays, so off to a slow start with reading this but...so is the novel (off to a slow start). It won the Pulitzer so, it's gotta be good. Right?

Drowning a bit in all the description and slow action.

Wow, just totally got the connection between My Abandonment and this novel. Cool.

The characters talk around each other at this point. Curious to see where it's going though

So good! I wish there were more about Molly but loving V's story.

Using the snow days off to complete my first thorough proof of A Different Path. My paperback proof is legit marked up! Now comes the painstaking corrections to the electronic copy. Happy I'll have time to delve back in to reading other novels again though :)

Only into the first pages, but the writing is absolutely beautiful. I can tell it's going to be a worthwhile read.

I'm currently reading/editing a novel I've written (ha ha) but this is the next book on my list. Can't wait to read it!

Inching closer. I expect a twist of some sort is coming.

Engaging story thus far. Banash's writing is raw, transparent sincerity and I admire that.

The halls are decked, the presents are bought. Now I can enjoy Christmastime and all the non-material things that make it my fave holiday.

A good editor will teach you a lot. For instance, it appears I favor UK spellings over A-merican lingo, and am forever changing my "towards" to "toward", my "round" to "a-round". Thanks Brontes and the like for making me pretentious!
