Love the hero - a modern aristocrat, saddled with a castle and 12 siblings - and the narration is superb. But the heroine is BUNKERS. She's gotten this idea that he's spy (just because he writes spy novels and speaks 4 languages) with the flimsiest "evidence". And not only that, she's BLABBING her suspicions to other people!!! If he was really a spy, do you think you should be talking about it?
