Y’all. My first monster book! I’m reading this with some girlfriends for our podcast and while
I was scared at first it’s actually been so fun! Haha

So many POVs but I love the short chapters.

I knew I loved her—fiercely and with every part of my heart, even the broken parts, even the parts that felt unworthy and without value. And maybe those parts most of all.

After watching the show in two days, I had to jump right into this!

“Sounds like I’m gonna have to teach you how to get out of your comfort zone.”
“This whole thing is out of my comfort zone,” I admit.
“Yeah, but there’s so much more out there than forbidden relationships.”
“Hmm.”
She smirks. “Mm.” Her lips cover mine. “I’ll show you. Don’t worry.”
“I want to show you something.”
“Oh, Professor Kingston,” she teasingly sings. “So naughty.”

"Now, get your stuff and let's go. I have things I want to do to you and it's a school night so I can't keep you up too late."

She laughs. "Yes, sir."

“This is what you want?” he asks, his voice thick with lust. “Stolen moments in dark rooms?”
I nod, unable to speak words.
Elijah shifts, allowing more space between us. As soon as I whine in protest, the hand that was massaging my ass comes around to my inner thigh.
“Because this is all we get. This is all I can offer.”
“I don’t care,” I breathe, bringing my hands to his biceps.

“There’s something about you,” he whispers. “It’s like I know I could be happy again.” He shakes his head. “But you’re my student, and you’re so young, and you deserve more than to be my dirty little secret.”

“What’s your name?”

“Nova. What’s yours?”

“Elijah.”

“Elijah,” she repeats. “I like that name.”

“I like the way it sounds coming out of your mouth.”

"As hot as he is, he seems to be a bit...stuffy. Or maybe I should say a straight arrow. You know? He’s not about to break any rules.”

I glance over my shoulder and find Mr. Not Going To Break Any Rules looking right at me. When I meet his gaze he quickly turns his attention back to the papers in his hands. “Hmm.”

I reach for him, pulling him back to my mouth. This time his kiss is aggressive, like he’s punishing me for making him wait so long. He thrusts his tongue inside my mouth, his hand moving to the back of my head and pulling me into him. This is more than a kiss. He’s claiming me with every stroke of his tongue against my own.

He fucked me with his words and left, leaving me to melt into a puddle on the floor.

I feel the tips of his fingers slip past the waist of my jeans.
"What do you want, Sunshine?"
His green eyes bore deeply into mine, and in their reflection I see lust, hunger, need, and so much more.
"You," I answer. "I want you."
Quickly and easily, he snaps open the button and pulls the zipper down.

“Who raised you?”
“Wolves, after your mother’s cootch spat me out.”
Hahahha! So funny.
