this is....well you can see its a "old" book, it has Im not like other girls trope but really prominent, not like in ya from today thats hidden but still there anyways, but anyways, I really hope I like it, so many meh books lately

This book could have been 100 pages shorter, rich people being terrible people is not the hot take the author seems to think

I made new challenge for myself that's basically "Actually reading my tbr", because I noticed in the last two years Ive added 400+books to my tbr ( 900 in total) and I just keep adding and adding and reading the "latest" book I add instead of the ones from years ago.

So I went trough my pre2019 tbr and just made a list of 17 books I got super interested in by reading the summary again~

the protagonist has money issues, and ofc she does she is terrible with money

I had to stop and read reviews to see how are they gonna hold your attention when you already know who did it, and apparently you dont know how they dispose of the body and thats the mystery?? idk

Also the dialogue is horrible? like a fanfic written by a 11 yo

I was expecting more tbh, I quite like it until 35%, then its just another ya book... Lila is a horrible character lmao not that she is horrible, just as a character is so overdone and cringey... also I was under the impression this was adult fantasy... but just saying your characters are 20+ but you write them like 16 yo doesnt make it adult
