I loathe the Dursleys. They are well written, despicable people.

At last, the book is much more interesting. There’s a lot of “world building” and “back story” to get this book going. Not that it wasn’t interesting, but not all that exciting. Also, there are a plethora of new words.

So far, it’s interesting to see the back story for the boy. There are some odd chapters just thrown in that I’m not sure what they’re about, but I’m enjoying the story. This is NOT a fast moving book. It’s not my normal action type of read.

This is still not what I expected, but I’m getting into the story now.

This is not what I expected for this book. I haven’t seen the movie, but the book is rather dark and has some great words in it. I’ve googled at least one word every night so far. Last night’s word was detritus-waste or debris of any kind.

So far, I’m enjoying this as much as I’ve liked any Redwall books in the series. However, I’m not a fan of this villain. He’s kind of a weenie. It’s his sister that’s the nasty one.

Yeah. This book is not good at all. I listened to the first 40 minutes or more of it. It was not even funny.

It’s interesting to hear the author share stories of bonding with his sighted through rock climbing.

I’m enjoying this time through on the audiobook.

Almost 2/3 done, and all the players aren’t headed back to Redwall yet. Interesting. Don’t quite remember how this one goes.

I love that an owl insulted Basil’s poetry.

Skurl is an interesting character.

They are marching the slaves away from Redwall now.

I’m really impressed by how the author is working in things from previous stories. Also, Siri pronounced No. 1 as No one, not Number One.

Disappointingly slow going through this book. It’s good, just no time to read it.

Artemis vs Artemis. A neat idea.

Nope. Definitely don’t remember this book at all. Weird.

I read this book before, but literally have no memory of it. It’s like MIB was here.
