Kate is so not likable and I'm only 3% in. From her "I've pissed of the Starbucks barista because I didn't order in their lingo (total BS, hubby orders black coffee all time at various Starbucks and no one bats an eye) to an overall attitude that she's better than most. I'll try a bit more. Thank God this was on Kindle unlimited.

I've had some issues with the fact that a 27yo Lucas was in love with a 17yo Avery. And now to make it worse, he's still calling her the childhood nickname "Avery Bug" after they've had sex, twice. And while he's trying to have a serious adult conversation. It's super creepy. I'm fine with a 10 year age gap, not the underage stuff. If she could've just been 18 when they first kissed.
