Just as Puck and Sean and all of the other riders are training for The Scorpio Races, I'm having to practice letting go of myself. I do not enjoy fantasy books as a general rule, but reading along while listening to the audiobook has helped immensely, and I am finally starting to get interested in the story. Additionally, I am not a fan of how depreciating Rosenfield is of small town life. Either the author has never lived in a small community, or she has a bigger issue that this book will not resolve. I am very unimpressed and highly disappointed.

So far I HATE this book. If I hadn't spent good money on a brand new copy I wouldn't even bother finishing it. Though advertised as a murder mystery, it's actually about (unhealthy) high school dating relationships. Yuck. There is also way too much language and several graphic sex scenes.
