Now the pondering is straying away from the topic of love and individuality...into the topic of politics. This book is awesome.

Symbolism. Kundera reigns supreme in defining symbolisms. Also, the way he describes uniformity of one's lover (or rather, the lack of uniqueness) is also worthy of note...as is shown on p.57-58

The more I read graphic novels and mangas, the less I learn. Those two genres are pure entertainment...rarely do they teach anything of value at all. I shall read more quality books (Rick Steves, Hemingway, Murakami, inter alia) and less Eichiro Oda and his likes from now on...

Flirtations are indeed harmless...as Kundera narrated on p.142.

I've updated my reading challenge to read 244 books in 2012. Since there are 366 days this year, that means I have to finish two books every three days. So far I'm still waaaaaaayy ahead of schedule! Yeah!
