Okay, I've finally started reading this properly. I've tried reading this two times in the past but haven't gotten through a chapter however, it's finally piqued my interest and I'm not in the mood for my current CR.

My dudes, idk how much I like this. I went to the epilogue because I'm insane and the book ends on lakshmi's pov and not Malik's ---- is this book not about Malik

miss alka joshi could write 800 pages of these characters and i would still read them.

this book is SOOO good!! I think it's already become my favourite by TJR so far and I'm so invested in the lives of the Rivas.

im done w part 1 and IT WAS SOOOO GOOD the end had me clutching the book in anticipation

this series has one of my favourite books ever but now I'm bothered by how much Pip annoys me and I am too scared to reread the rest in fears of disliking it.

2nd book for pride readathon! this book is exa what I needed because I've been thinking a lot about how your identity/sexuality intersects with your race/ethnicity.

all of Rukhsana's friends who haven't bothered understanding her situation make me so mad. i can't even bare to see their point of view.
to me, Rukhsana is not a caricature. She's not a book character. She's been my friend. An amalgamation of all my friends. The things she thinks about and does, I've seen my friends do the same
