I’m enjoying this so far, but I’m like interested to see how does Cameron fit into the entire plotline

im enjoying this but i am not loving it - i think some of the problems i have with it are the same as what i thought in book 2

just reached the part where i realise they were all on their first mission so the (not rlly a spoiler) unexpected 💀 hurts more

this kind of feels like malibu rising to me which is instant love

i look books that are made to be read - this is one of them; with lit fic, often the highest barrier of entry is the structural composition of the prose. while meant to invoke feelings by being powerful and descriptive in its metaphors, it can often also be intimidating and hard to read - this on the other hand is so readable, approaches the topic with a frank manner and is powerful in its own understated way

im kind of in love with this so far

it’s insane to see the rippling effects of colonisation persist to this day and affect the geopolitic map of earth as we know it & all because the english/dutch were greedy lil shits

We often tend to pigeonhole the people we know at work & I am loving Jolene’s renewed perspective on them albeit even if it is by blurring some boundaries

how is our protagonist so dumb 😭 she’s ignoring all the red flags

this has so far been unputdownable

I personally love the fact we have no red herrings so far, nothing to indicate who the person might be because it’s truly an isolated case of a murderer versus a mystery - it performs the aspect of a thriller very well but with all of this buildup, the climax needs to be incredibly satisfactory
