To think that in the first few chapters Larsen has provided more psychological understanding behind the act of passing than in the entirety of The Vanishing Half 🙄 and now I'm like the only difference is she made them twins...🙂

I've had this book for so long and I'll have to push myself to read it. But I never knew about Anne Braden or Juliette Morgan and how awful it would've been to fight white supremacy as a white woman in the 50s 😔 rip Morgan, her story breaks my heart
