Hmmm... different from the other books. I'm really not used to this setting. I never did much care for westerns

I love this. Everyone is so dynamic. Sazed is struggling to lead a team while obviously suffering from severe depression. TenSoon breaks free of his species culture to follow his own moral feelings in spite of the 'law.' Urubean is having a 'chairman mao' type political evolution. Spook is just getting weird. We are realizing the evil lord ruler maybe wasnt so evil as the good are 'forced' to do more and more 'bad.'

Completely addicted to this book, I don't even know how.

I had to start this because I desperately needed some tolerable female characters in my life.

Everyone (especially Nynaeve) stop sniffing!! Wish Lewis Therein would think something useful. If Rand is Lewis Therins soul reborn why do they have completely different thoughts. Shouldn't it be just one person in there... you know... 'reborn'?

A bit boring so far. Please stop describing everyone's clothes. I need a summary of what's going on w/the foresaken because I'm getting confused:

Slowly flogging through this book. The battle right now is a bit boring because without diagrams I have no idea what formations he's describing. Nynaeve is so rude to everyone I can't believe she has any friends. Where is Perrin????????

The beginning of this book has dragged so much. Nanaeve is a complete grump. Her unbearable temper is getting in the way of everything - including anything so simple as just having a normal conversation with someone! Also where is Perrin in this book...

I can't STAND Faile. FAIL. There is a difference between a strong woman and an insufferable nag. She is the latter.

Annoyed because at the beginning of this book everyone is RANDOMLY in love with everyone else. I don't know about men, but this is NOT how women fall in love. 'Met you once, we didn't really talk. I love you and am ok with the fact that all of the other girls do to!' UMM NO.

I love all of this. This entire world is so complex and really thought out. Not only do we see viewpoints from several main characters but a few minor ones as well to explain 'behind the scenes' information and also bit by bit perspectives from the main characters pasts. Still lots of mystery about the state of their kingdom. Also lots of introspection by the characters about religion and morals.. very similar to us!

Epic war story so far. Really rooting for Kaladin to turn the bridgemen around!

Still trying to figure out what's going on here and who the main characters are. What a racist world!

Loving it so far! It's not dragging, and I can't predict anything that's going to happen, still trying to piece the story together. So excited because usually epic fantasy's are so similar you can guess where it's going or what the characters are like but this one I can't call at all, never a dull moment!

The Aiel sound like Kenyans only white and red haired.
