Khouri, you little shit. Why you gotta be such a beat to Sorin when he's literally doing what you asked him to do? I feel for Sorin, but he's also bringing it on himself by sticking around and teaching Khouri how to be a proper adventurer.

I started this book Friday 2/24 and managed to read almost 200 pages in a little under 24 hours. I am loving the dynamics between Khouri and Navidae and can't wait to find out how the relationship between Khouri and Jinkan continues to develop. The spicy scenes are nice and well spaced out I feel, with enough plot to keep me wanting to know what happens next.

I know a few Jimmys in my life and I try to not be like Jimmy, but I know there are some areas where in still entitled. Seeing myself and others in this book is probably what the author intended, I don't know, but it's a good read and the points made are on point and nothing seems exaggerated or over the top. It's just the right amount and that's good.

Enjoying so far and liking how some of the points made I can see in myself, and others around me. I'd forgotten what it was like to not give a #@%! over every little thing and remembering there are some things more important to give a #@%! about.
