Delightful so far! My first by Dare.

Y'all, Clara is SO SPECIAL. She works with DEAD people. She understands DEAD people and people related to the DEAD. She understands murder better than cops because of her association with the DEAD. Her mother is DEAD. Her grandmother is DEAD. She is so afraid of the living she literally pulls her hair out because she prefers the DEAD.

It's so nice to read a historical romance about not-quite-respectable women who aren't sad fallen ladies or running away from evil uncles or whatnot. The Noirot sisters are just delightful little rogues.

I just love this series so much, y'all. Women shamelessly in it for the money, for the dresses, for the art, and for the money again. SHAMELESSLY.
