What is your biggest red flag when reading a book?
Mine: when it’s a series but the number of the book isn’t on the spine or cover 🚩😡🤬

If you see me reading a bunch of mangas lately because I don’t have as much time to read, but still want my book count up, 🤫🤫🤫 we don’t talk about that

I worship people who write reviews for every single book they read. Cuz that is downright impressive. Like me I write reviews for only books with the worst cliffhangers, my absolute favorites, arcs/books for reviews, or when I do a buddy read. And that’s like 1 out of 5 or 10 books. I also don’t have the time cuz I’m a pretty fast reader and read a book in 1-3 days.

For people who do the year on goodreads review thing. When you make a list of books to read or series to start/finish, do you keep adding more series as you go?

2024 was my first year doing it, so I’ve been trying to get a hang on things -> please check it out and give me some advice for 2025

Am I the only one who thinks that hockey romance is overrated?
I mean don’t get me wrong I got nothing against a good hockey romance book. But I mean does it have to be hockey? I honestly don’t see much of a difference between hockey romance books and any other sports romance books. Just me?

Am I the only one who gets more intimidated by long series than long books?
For a book to be so long to intimidate me it’s gotta be at least 900+ pages. But if the series is like 7+ books long and each book is like 200-400 pages, I tend to leave it untouched for a long time (unless very hyped, or author I like). It might be because I like to finish a series if I start it.
