a fun read so far, but i’m waiting for the twist that makes this author so unique. the writing is very well done with colorful descriptions and characters

Really enjoying this so far. A definite page turner, the book is reading itself

The character building really sits you in the story where you feel like a small town gossip expert. I’m liking the remoteness of the location as well as Evelyn’s truth about what’s happening—I just wish people would take her more seriously. That to me is evidence of good writing 👏🏼

Really enjoying this book so far. The atmosphere and the magic make it feel like a cozy read, but not so cozy that it’s dull. This book so far has a good amount of adult language-which I love when it’s done correctly. Overusing “fuck” can sometimes cheapen an experience when it feels forced. It’s much more naturally inserted into the characters’ vernacular here, which makes them feel relatable.

Packed full of adventure, world building and digestible chapters full of whimsical magic and imagination. An easy 5 star from the legend Sanderson

MC makes me want to choke her out. Just tell the truth!

Well. They finally did the thing. Now we can focus on the plot lol hopefully. I’m curious how Nesta can be so accepting of Feyre’s love affair when hate is what drove her to dodge the glamour entirely. Not sure if that makes sense for her character.

It’s getting better. The bookshop seems to be haunted with spirits. I like that the shop was originally built in Italy and to be torn down, but Mr. Fitzgerald bought it and brought it back to Dublin in pieces and had it reassembled. Interesting. Poor opaline had to leave Paris and relocate to Dublin to escape her awful brother’s plans for her arranged marriage to another equally disgusting man.

Waiting for the conclusion to see how it all comes together. Unsure about the first story’s ending.
