Odd little book. At least a third of the time I've no clue what Bill is saying. Best humor so far: Michael Jordan brought back to Chicago the respect it hadn't had since Capone.

rather disappointed thus far. after a terrific opening line, there's been not really that much. something predictable just happened, I will see how that tweaks things. I have and really wanted to read the Odin and Zeus titles in this series, so I sincerely hope it gets better.

just commenting to say I actually began with the add on Blacklist. After reading the forward and introduction, I decided to begin with the non pros.

actually very entertaining and exciting, if you enjoy/ed Doc Savage and most all the pulp noir adventures. a fun combination of multiple heroes and actual history across the spectrum. editing mistakes, but I still like the tale.

interesting and mildly addictive read consisting of shadows of dozens of familiar characters that makes it intriguing yet a story worthy of reading on its own merits.

as usual, loving Michael's writing and characters. looking forward to witnessing this man's recognition and success.

Has grown on me. Batman and Bruce are starting to realize (1) The Batman isn't infallible and (2) he can't go it/isn't alone. there's been some clever monochromatic pages and a few good-to-great pieces/sets, but this isn't a stunning art page-turner.

Joseph Zieja's "A Cup of Wisdom" = a very good tale!

Wonlar sux. Dude is such a bad character it's killing me. only thing keeping me reading is a curiosity for what happens to the city.

Despicable book actually, and I so wanted to read this. not only must I remember to stay away from Tracy Hickman sans Margaret Weis, I hate his treatment of Bruce and The Dark Knight. Overwritten, poorly edited for repetition, and making me very angry for my favorite superhero.

Am absolutely loving this read! Never read it before and wanted to before seeing the flick. I wonder if I would have liked it as much if I'd read it in high school like so many seem to do. Fun read, fun sentences and structures and story.

While I don't quite enjoy Esslemont's writing as much as Erikson's, I DO thoroughly enjoy being immersed in the Malazan world again, and that I definitely am.

4 pages in and I love it! I've always wanted to meet Trace and Toby Keith and this adamantly affirms it.
