I have super low expectations for the books in this series, but I’m pleasantly surprised by this one so far. It’s actually quite cute. However, the lines “I giggled” and “he gave me a slow, sexy smile” appear on like every page and I’m about to lose my mind over it 😅

I’m struggling with this one. The story just isn’t pulling me in. Authors use of descriptive words are getting irritating. Lots of repeating words 3 times to drive a point. A wound is “burning, burning, burning” or an image is “white, and white, and white”
