Crap. I forgot all that happened in the first book. I remember not really liking it, but here I am reading book 2. Gotta see it through, my dude.

Still enjoying this one, but I wish the big reveals were a little harder to see coming. The author hands the reader upcoming twists on a silver platter. It’s almost like they want us to know everything before we’re told

Ahhhhhh this book is so good I can’t seem to put it down. I have so many things to do today but spent almost all of my kids nap time reading 🤦🏼‍♀️

If I didn’t have a two year old who gets up at the crack of dawn every day I could see myself pulling an all-nighter to read this. It’s so easy to get roped into reading the next chapter!

Dang, I can’t keep up with all the tricks and backstabbing and twists and lies. Phew! This one’s keeping me on my toes.

Finished my reading goal for 2023! 100 books read so far. I’m excited to see how many I get to before the new year!

Oh. So… that all just happened.

Really starting to get into the thick of it now. So far, there’s been a lot of world building (understandable) and it’s felt pretty slow.
