It got slightly better at the 60% mark, things were making a bit more sense. But the writing still just annoys me. I’m speed reading the rest of the way…

Urgh... I'm not loving it so far, the writing is really hard to follow and I was super confused for the whole first chapter which is not a great start. Close to DNF-ing, or I might skim it to just see where the story goes because the story is actually interesting. Just not really into the writing or characters.

I just love everything about this book so far. The insecure male lead, such a unique perspective on the “f*ckboy” character. Anddddd I love how Hannah’s personality complements Fox’s and their characters just work so well. Loving this so much more than the first book!

OMG. When he made her sing the song she wrote because he wanted to know if she really thinks of herself as a broken masterpiece 😭😭😭 I can’t 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Have not been able to put this book down since I started, sleeping aside.

Slow paced but a relaxing read. New and interesting premise, feels really different to a lot of other fantasy romance books and I really love the magic world. It’s not crazy complex so it makes it easy to get stuck into the world immediately.

It’s got 5 ⭐️ feels.

Hmmm why the multiple perspectives if you’re gonna write in third person? 👀

My only gripe was that the FMC should have been fired from her job. She is TERRIBLE at it. Love the rest of the story though!

Took a chance on this since it was on Kindle Unlimited. Great characters! Very clear who they are as people and who they are in the story.

Its a really slow start. Wanted to like it more than i do because the set up of the book is so good! Too many characters, a lot of backstory that seems i think a little unnecessary — i’m losing my concentration a little.

Super cool and interesting! Very gripping. Also a lot going on past the romance.

Hmm MMC not written in first person but third person but FMC written in first person in their chapter. Was a little confused at the start.

Urgh. A few of the last few books have had the same really annoyingly bitchy FMCs. Omg. GET. OVER. YOURSELF.

Book is actually surprisingly gripping! Honestly didn’t know what to expect after the many… many… hockey romance books… butttttt damn. It’s good. It’s also quite different. The plot is also super cool.

Update here, THE DAMN HAS BURST. IM HOOKED.
