God, I love Stefan and Mira so much. Please don't give me a third act breakup. I can't.

I need to stop here at 20% for today. There's too much going on and what I thought would be a relaxing read is actually highly cognitive. I liked when the storyline started to progress, but the beginning was a nightmare. Jumping straight into a war, no background and having to catch up on all the history and politics made it really difficult to enjoy. But I see where the story is going so, we'll see how far I get.

I was really excited to read this but the first 20 pages have felt like walking through mud. There are so many names and concepts you get introduced to but this happens all at the same time from the beginning and it’s incredibly overwhelming. I read some reviews and many other people have similar experiences, but they also say the story gets better… we’ll see!

Hmm, it's like so ridiculous... So she breaks in to his house and he just like agrees to help her find her sister, offers her a room for the night and then makes her food? And she is like oh sure? I'm not sure if I'll DNF...

It is the darkest of all the books so far... and damn, Im hooked.

It’s so cosy and one of those books you snuggle up with when it’s raining outside. Love so far.

I am not a fan of how this first part is written…. Too many “the man” did this “the woman” did this. No names, it’s a little confusing and unclear.
