I’m really liking the writing style of this. There’s something almost lyrical despite the crudeness of it.

I love these books so much

This first chapter is interesting. Self plug in one of the footnotes I could have done without but I like that he relates back to how Dampier inspired both scientists and authors and I hope that continues throughout the book.

Nearing the end, I’ll definitely be picking up the rest his books
