Just finished the first interlude.
This book, while not written in a style I like, is full of layers. Motifs, allegories layered in there that I didn't even catch it until I stopped to write down some notes.
However it is also one of those books that the rare times people speak, they swear worse then a sailor.

uhhh, narration is an obvious purposeful choice. I just can't understand why it was chosen... It is so flat. It tells, not shows. Also... the different kinds of monkeys... I feel like I've been on a weird drug induced trip...

I'm wondering why the history included in this book, couldn't have been explained in the other books? It would have cleared up at least some of the confusion. Also, even if this book is shorter it should be considered a full book of the series not a .5 anything... idk. I like it though.
